Along my journey in producing recordings, I’ve worked on projects from early stage development through to established artists, both locally & internationally, helping to refine both concept and execution with a diverse array of artists.
My 20 years experience as a performing multi-instrumentalist, a songwriter, and a student of the studio allows me to cover many bases, allowing you to focus on what you do best - craft your stories through sound and fully realize your vision.
As a songwriter, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with artists across a wide range of genres.
Working with other artists and songwriters, I've been involved in award-winning solo projects, successful touring bands, and countless fruitful co-writing sessions, living each stage from the conception of the song to the delivery of successful releases and tours.
Helping distill the story you want to tell is among my most fundamental sources of inspiration.
I've been lucky to get the chance to learn and play with many of the best musicians and songwriters in North America, on a range of instruments.
I aim to explore your project through the lenses of vocalist, drummer, percussionist, guitarist, bassist, beatmaker, and pianist.
I can listen for what elements could be vital sonic set pieces in your song's storyline, what sounds can make your project unique, all while allowing your voice to speak for itself and with clarity.
As an award-winning singer-songwriter, band leader, session musician, assistant engineer, and producer, I have spent my life in studios and on stages, mastering every level of growing the seeds of inspiration into engaging, lasting musical experiences.
Having the ability to dig to the core of a song and uncover it's most compelling elements has been a key strength to becoming a trusted collaborator within the Toronto music community for nearly two decades.

Kevin Howley
Kevin Howley has been obsessed with sound and song for his entire life, spending his early years taking piano lessons, playing acoustic guitar, studying drums with a Prog-Rock legend, writing Folk songs, playing in Skate Punk bands, Jazz groups, theatre pit orchestras, and programming electronic beats.
Kevin is now a graduate of the Humber College Music Program, specializing in drum set/percussion, vocals and composition.
His skills as a multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar, bass, piano, trombone, various percussion), vocalist, songwriter, and producer have put him in high demand in Toronto, Canada as a songwriter, a side-man, and producer. He's won various awards and competitions, toured extensively in Canada, Europe, and the US, and attracted the ear and tutelage of record producer Gavin Brown (Metric, Billy Talent, Three Days Grace).
Kevin’s musical instincts and versatility have also put him in demand for high-profile gigs across Canada, working with artists such as Juno-winner Slakah the Beatchild, "Stars" front Torquil Campbell, Swedish art-pop genius Tingsek, LeRiche, Tanika Charles, Tedy, Virginia To Vegas, The Abrams, KC Roberts as well as a slew of award-winning Jazz musicians including: Kenny Kirkwood, Rich Brown, Dave Restivo, Kevin Turcotte, and Wendell Ferguson.
He is currently focusing most of his time and energy on production for various artists including Sarah Hiltz, Eunice Keitan, Mike Celia, Janïsa, Nolan Hubbard, Leah Canali, and Peter Drucker as well as developing his new original project “Wolfville” with co-writing partner and Running Red Lights bandmate Scarlett Flynn.
He hosts a popular weekly open mic night every Wednesday at the B-side Lounge and you can catch him performing regularly around Toronto with Running Red Lights, Mohsin Zaman, Songstress Eunice Keitan, Toronto dance party institution Loving In The Name Of, Parkside Drive, and Dwayne Gretzky's "The 99’s".
